The Skills Development Program consists of 8 weekly sessions for boys and girls aged 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 years old. Players do not have to be enrolled in a local soccer club to join, they simply have to be ready to play soccer once a week. During the Fall or Spring season a U4 - U8 player will be assigned a team and a parent coach. They are expected to train at least once a week with their team. B.Y.S.C and Gusher United offers extra training with the Skills Development Program through Challenger Sports, to any U4 - U8 player from the recreational age group who would like to get a head start in learning new skills and perfect the fundamental skills of soccer. The program uses Gusher United professional trainers who work with the academy and competitive programs in an effort to help the recreational and competitive programs transition smoothly.
 Our Director of Training - Thomas Shenton started the program in 2010 with 10 players and now the skills development program caters for roughly 70 boys and girls from the golden triangle area each program, this great program is growing every year and we encourage any young soccer player to join.
